The Graduate Certificate in Business (Financial Planning) comprises the following FASEA approved units:
Financial planning principles and regulation*
Ethics and professional relationships*
Behavioural client management - financial planning (capstone)*
One optional unit (Business and corporations law or Investments management).
This course will equip you with the knowledge you need to lead the industry as a professional financial planner. You will develop technical skills to provide effective, holistic solutions to complex and unpredictable financial problems. You will also develop superior communication skills in order to understand your clients’ needs and communicate effectively, ethically and professionally.
We will provide you with opportunities to engage with real-world financial problems throughout your degree. You will undertake a capstone unit where you will use contemporary financial planning software to analyse the needs of a real-world client and prepare a financial plan.
