Studying Diploma in Health Science (Health Studies) at the QUT International College will develop your academic skills, which will help you become more confident with your university studies. This Diploma will also improve your academic English language skills, all while enjoying a complete university experience. Successful graduates will be guaranteed entry into one of the approved QUT Faculty of Health programs with up to 1 semester of advanced standing.

You will learn through university style lectures, tutorials and workshops with a focus on the development of independent learning skills. Smaller class sizes mean you get more individual attention from your teachers.


  • Provides pathway into selected Bachelor degrees in Health, including Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology), Nutrition Science, Social Work, Human Services, and Public Health.
  • Develop academic and English language skills for successful study in the Bachelor degree program.
  • Complete in 8 months full-time. 12-month Diploma option available for February entry.
  • Successful graduates will receive up to 4 units/1 semester of credit for prior learning (advanced standing) into selected health Bachelor degrees.

QUT's Diploma in Health Science (Health Studies) is a pathway into a range of QUT undergraduate health programs including Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology), Bachelor of Nutrition Science, Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Human Services, Bachelor of Public Health.
