The Graduate Certificate in Project Management will provide you with skills required to both initiate and develop plans that efficiently meet project goals. This course forms part of a suite of postgraduate project management courses that have been developed to help you build a solid foundation for your future and allow you to reach your career goals.
The Graduate Certificate in Project Management is a specialist course for students that are, or aspire to be project managers. It focuses on the application of project concepts applicable for a variety of industries. The course introduces and develops skills to initiate projects and develop project plans to meet project goals. As a result the course allows project managers to make decisions that achieve project targets and outcomes. It adopts a methodological approach to the application of project processes and highlights the integration of different frameworks to a project. The qualification consists of four units and provides practicing project managers and project directors with the technical skills to run projects in challenging environments. Case studies and practical material are embedded within the course to illustrate how the concepts of project management meet industry demands. As a result graduates will be able to demonstrate that they have a comprehensive understanding and the ability to run projects. Candidates with relevant work experience and who can demonstrate the capacity to work at a postgraduate level are eligible for admission to this course.
