Entry criteria

However, Valley international College’s selection criteria is as follows:

Must be over the age of 18 or turning 18 years of age prior to commencement of their study
Must have their own laptop and appropriate software.
Must have completed at least the equivalent of Year 12 or higher.
Either a minimum IELTS* (Academic) test score of 5.5 or equivalent for direct entry into a VET course.
Valley International College will also accept equivalent test results from the following specified English Language tests – TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic and Cambridge English Advanced (CAE).
English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:

Evidence that they have studied in English for at least five years in Australia. Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom or the United States.
Evidence that, within two years of their application date, they have successfully completed in Australia a foundation course or a senior secondary certificate of education or a substantial part of a Certificate IV or higher-level qualification, from the Australian Qualifications Framework.
Pre-entry Oxford Placement Test of result no less than B2 with no category lower than B1.
