Summary
Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control provides competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain systems and devices for measurement and recording of physical/chemical phenomenon and related process control. On completion of this course, you will receive a nationally recognized qualification.
STRUCTURE
You must attend class 20 hours every week. You will also need to complete self-paced learning from home. Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control includes 480 hours of vocational training (unpaid).
ASSESSMENT METHODS
Assessment of competencies will be done by the trainer throughout the course. You will have to complete written and practical assessments and workplace demonstration and observation.

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
All individual students are offered the opportunity to apply for RPL. If requested, the trainer at Ausinet will provide candidates with an RPL Application Form, to assist the candidate in determining if RPL is an appropriate pathway to gain the qualification. If appropriate, candidates will be provided with an RPL Self-Assessment Guide and instructions on how to prepare a portfolio of evidence. The RPL documentation is available on request.

117 Victoria StreetTo enroll in Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control you will need to have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent and have an overall IELTS score of 5.5. You must be over 18 years old. Due to the physical requirements of this qualification the student must have the ability to perform CPR on a manikin.
