Summary
CPC30611 - Certificate III in Painting and Decorating is the nationally recognised qualification for painters. You will gain essential background knowledge in the processes, materials, tools and equipment used in the painting and decorating industry.
Painting and decorating is a physically demanding occupation requiring working at height, dealing with chemicals, long hours standing and bending and manual handling involving erecting trestles and scaffolds and carrying various painting equipment.
It is important that students confirm their physical health and fitness and advise Peach Institute of any respiratory illnesses and other physical ailments that may negatively impact on their ability to complete the qualification.
Where possible, Peach Institute will provide all necessary assistance to overcome barriers to the learning and ensure that every opportunity to complete the training is made available. However, where it is identified that the student does not meet the physical or health requirements, they may be excluded from enrolment.
Structure
Training is conducted in a classroom based environment, practical skills training in a simulated environment and 492 hours of work based training (WBT) component to enable the students to gain experience operating in the painting and decorating sector.
This will assist learners to be able to apply content to a variety of different work place situations. Training will be conducted face to face within a classroom based environment.

Peach institute allow and encourage its student to bring their own laptop computer, tablet etc. or Institute can arrange a loan computer upon request. Student/s can access Peach institute’s internet/Wi-Fi facility for study purpose.
Students successfully completing all the components of the course, student will receive Nationally Recognised; CPC30611 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating.
