The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the Wall and Floor Tiling industry, as well as a specialist field of work. Upon completion of the Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling as well as the required practical hours, over the course of 12 months students will then be eligible to graduate as qualified tiler. Mixed study refers to the combination of studying Tiling within classroom and during practical work.
At Liberty College we provide aim to prepare our students for the workforce! This certification is offered as a mixed-mode course, meaning students will spend time learning in class, reading and taking quizzes online, practising skills in the campus practical area, and developing real worksite skills during job placement hours. Liberty students receive quality support to help find a work placement and regular opportunities to meet industry professionals.

PRIOR AND EXISTING SKILLS
Credit transfer is available for completed past studies in areas related to the qualification that participants plan to enrol in. Participants are advised of the process of applying for credit transfer and assisted by the Trainer/Assessor to apply.
It is important that you inform and advise Liberty College prior to enrolment about any existing skills and prior knowledge and education. This ensures Liberty College can provide the appropriate structure and student support throughout the course.
PATHWAYS TO FUTURE STUDY AND CAREERS
Upon completion of the Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling, graduates may progress further to the Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building).
