Summary
Care for people needing support with a Certificate III in Individual Support. This course prepares students to provide individualised support in working roles.
Students will learn to effectively work and communicate in the health and community services industries, support independence and wellbeing for a diverse range of people, and work ethically and legally.
Elective units provide the opportunity to learn addition skills in three specialised areas; Ageing Care, Disability Care, and Home and Community care.
Students are required to attend 120 hours of work placement in aged care or community care facilities.
