This qualification reflects the role of senior managers and small business owners of personal services businesses. They are responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation of the business and for planning, monitoring and evaluating the work of the team. Salon managers also operate with significant autonomy to make strategic business management decisions.
In the Certificate IV in Hairdressing course, student are trained to reflects the role of skilled senior hairdressers who use a range of highly developed sales, consultation and technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of hairdressing services to clients.
These senior hairdressers provide specialist services in one or more areas including haircutting, design, colouring and complex color correction, trichology and chemical reformation. Students are trained to work independently and many hairdressers at this level are able to provide technical leadership, training and support to team members.
At Vibe College, students have opportunity to complete their practical on live client at the college salon. We also encourage and assist our full time students in finding other salons that would allow them to perform practical and gain additional industry exposure.
On completion of your studies you will receive a Diploma of Salon Management, issued by VIBE.

Students must have completed at least an Australian year 12 equivalent.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
The student must provide evidence of attaining an overall IELTS score of 5.5 bands or equivalent scores on a similar test (such as TOEFL, PTE, etc).
Or the student must have attained at least Upper Intermediate level of English and must provide evidence of the same.
Or the student must pass Vibe's relevant Internal English Placement Test.
Or the student must have completed Certificate III in Spoken and Written English.
