Summary
This course is designed for students with little or no prior flying experience and is an intensive 26-week full time course delivered by Airwork Helicopters at Caboolture Airport. This course is an ideal pathway for students seeking a career as a commercial pilot in the aviation industry.
This qualification involves the skills and knowledge required to obtain a Commercial Pilot License (Helicopter), in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and national operating standards.
It addresses the competency standards in the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASRs) Part 61 Manual of Standards Instrument.
The program delivers 29 Units of Competency and 105 hours of aeronautical experience. Upon successful completion you will receive:

Unit 5/19 Lear Jet DriveBe a minimum of 18 years of age prior to the completion of the course to enroll in the qualification.
Beneficial to have completed Year 12 with passes in Math & English.
Obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI) before enrolling in the course.
Be eligible to obtain English Language Proficiency to meet the minimum requirements set by CASA.
