Summary
On successful completion of the course, participants will be competent as technical specialist with high level skills and knowledge in telecommunications and information technology networks using internet protocol (IP) systems who can:
- forecast network growth for enterprise network planning
- design and manage IP based network telecommunications equipment
- implement convergence technologies in enterprise telecommunications networks
- design and manage optical and wireless network telecommunications architectures for high speed broadband capability.

Entry criteria
All students entering this course must have completed Year 10 or equivalent qualification.
Students with no formal qualifications are required to successfully complete the LLN test and meet with the Training Manager to be admitted.
Overseas students must demonstrate English language proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
TOEFL (iBT) minimum score of 55
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic – Minimum Level 43
Completion of at least 2 years of study at an acceptable grade in an English medium course completed within the previous 2 years
International Baccalaureate (IB) Minimum of 3 in English A1 or A2
Completion of the Cambridge First Certificate of English (FCE)
Completion of English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at Upper Intermediate Level or equivalent at SSBT/Apple Study Group or a recognised English college.
